Dalgona Whipped Matcha
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. matcha
approx. 200 ml cold milk, any kind
A few ice cubes
2 tbsp of water
Heat water and sugar over low heat until sugar dissolves completely to make a sugar syrup
In a bowl, beat the egg white until stiff with a mixer or egg whisk.
Slowly pour the sugar syrup into the egg whites, mixing all the time, then add the matcha and mix until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Fill a glass with ice cubes to ⅓ of its height, add the milk.
Finally, apply the whipped matcha cream on top.
You can also try a hot version by placing the matcha meringue on hot milk.
